The House on Henneberry Lane

This small oil painting shows the house built on Henneberry Lane by Clyde and his father Maurice in the early 1950's. The houses in back are owned by Stan Henneberry, Clyde's brother.

The house is totally unremarkable, except being typical of the small frame houses popular throughout the Halifax area. Clyde moved across the main road to a larger house with a lobster pound in 1963, and lives there to this day.

During the 1980's, the house was used by Clyde's daughter, Ruth Henneberry, now a prominent Toronto litigation lawyer.
