This painting is of a small fishing boat affectionately known in the community as the "Captain Crunch". Out of respect for the owner, (now retired) the artwork was re-titled "The Captain Kent".

The painting represents the small fishing boats and houses that were common along the main wharf in Eastern Passage prior to the recent waterfront development.
